Information about the fermenting basket

The fermenting basket made of cane in various sizes and shapes gives your loaf of bread an even shape, supports the dough and conjures up a beautiful pattern on the crust of your bread.

The accompanying linen cover can absorb moisture from the air and release it into the environment. This has a cooling effect, the dough does not dry out and stays fresh longer.

Care instructions

Always dust the basket with enough flour when using it so that no dough residue sticks to the basket. You should clean it after each use. Let it dry first. Then tap it out thoroughly and remove any flour residue with a dry brush. Occasionally, you can disinfect your proofing basket with vinegar, brush it out carefully and let it dry.

The cover is made of 100% linen fabric and can be washed at 40 °C.
