You want to bring your brewing skills to a new level? Then our pH strips are just the thing for you. The pH value tells you how acidic or basic your ferment is.
Just dip it in and compare the color field with the scale. So you always know exactly how your kombucha, kefir or water kefir is doing. These pH strips have been specially developed for fermented beverages and therefore have a scale of 2.8 - 4.6 pH.
This is especially helpful during preparation to check whether the starter is acidic enough, for example, to prevent the formation of mold.

Tips: After "seeding" with the starter liquid, the optimal starting level of your kombucha is pH 3.8 - 4.5.
The optimal pH of your finished kombucha is up to you and how acidic you prefer your kombucha to be. However, a value of 3 is a good guideline for you to follow.
